Manuel Rios, Lead immigration Attorney
Manuel “Manny” Rios is the lead immigration attorney at Rios & Cruz, P.S. in Seattle,
Washington. During the past 10 years, Manuel’s practice has been limited to
immigration law, with an emphasis in removal(deportation) defense.
Manuel belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Manuel has been the
Consultant Attorney for the Consulate of Mexico in Washington on immigration matters
since 2002. He is a frequent speaker and Continuing Legal Education presenter on
detention and removal issues and has various published opinions in the Federal Reporter.
Manuel is a regular guest speaker on various radio programs in the Seattle area on immigration
topics, and has appeared as an immigration expert on Univision’s Primer Impacto and Noticias Nacionales. Currently he is featured on 1360AM Saturday mornings between 10:00am – 11:00am on La Voz de Washington,Weekend Edition.
In addition, Manuel is actively involved in the Latino community in Washington. He has been
the President of the Hispanic Seafair Organization (HSO), a non-profit 501(c) corporatition.

Desde el año 2002 ha sido el abogado consultor sobre asuntos de inmigración del Consulado de México en Washington; ha sido además un educador legal permanente y conferencista en temas de detención y remoción, además de haber publicado varias de sus opiniones sobre el tema en “The Federal Reporter”.
Manuel es invitado regular en varios programas de radio y televisión locales y emitidos a nivel nacional en los que es consultado sobre complejos casos de inmigración; ha sido invitado entre otros, a los programas periodísticos del canal de televisión Univisión “Primer Impacto y Noticias Nacionales. Actualmente presenta un programa radial todos los sábados de 10 am a 11 de la mañana en la emisora 1360 AM “La Voz de Washington.”
Adicionalmente a su labor como abogado experto en inmigración, Manuel hace parte activa de la comunidad Hispana del estado de Washington; se ha desempeñado como Presidente de la organización “Hispanic Seafair” (HSO) una corporación (501) sin ánimo de lucro.
